Dundee have moved quickly to replace Kane Hemmings by signing former Dunfermline striker Faissal El Bakhtaoui.
The Ladbrokes Premiership club announced the Frenchman had signed a three-year deal.
The 23-year-old spent four seasons in Fife and came to the fore last term when he hit 30 goals as the Pars won the League One title.
El Bakhtaoui rejected a new deal with Dunfermline and was recently on trial with Blackburn.
Dundee lost their own top goalscorer last week when Hemmings moved to Oxford after hitting 28 goals for the Dens Park club.
