King not giving up battle for control of Rangers
Dave King has returned to South Africa having failed to strike a deal that would have seen £16m invested in the Ibrox club.
The former shareholder is convinced that he can win control on the board having held talks with influential shareholder Sandy Easdale.
King has also revealed that Newcastle owner and Rangers suitor Mike Ashley refused his offer of talks. (Express)

Celtic are watching defensive midfielder Senegal international Kara Mbodj who plays for Alex Mcleish’s Belgian side Genk.
The £4m-rated player can also play in the centre of defence and is being watched by a number of English Premiership clubs. (Express)
Hibs defender undergoes surgery
Jordon Forster has undergone surgery after breaking a bone in his foot in training. The 21-year-old is expected to be out for two months with his absence leaving the Easter Road side with only four fit defenders. (Express)
Allan McGregor back in Scotland frame
