CELTIC 3 INTER 3, EUROPA LEAGUE LAST 32, FIRST LEG, FEBRUARY 19, 2015

A glimpse of what could have been with a spirited Celtic producing some spellbinding football against a European heavyweight as they twice fought back for a result that, admittedly, was never going to provide a launchpad for further progress in the tournament.

CELTIC 3 MALMO 2, CHAMPIONS LEAGUE PLAY-OFF, AUGUST 19, 2015

CELTIC 4 ABERDEEN 0, PREMIERSHIP, MARCH 1, 2015

Celtic have hardly been big game hunters in the past two years but they proved themselves to be that on this afternoon. Aberdeen were mounting a serious challenge, questions were being asked of Deila’s men and they used that backdrop to send out the message, in resounding fashion, that they were the country’s top team.

DUNDEE UNITED 0 CELTIC 2, LEAGUE CUP FINAL, MARCH 15, 2015

One of only two occasions - out of five - Hampden didn’t prove a graveyard for Deila cup hopes.

CELTIC 8 HAMILTON ACCIES 1, PREMIERSHIP, JANUARY 19, 2016

Deila promised a blistering brand of football but only was this evidenced infrequently. Everything clicked as Accies were blown away for the only eight goal haul across his tenure.
