Celtic centre back Dedryck Boyata is one of nine defenders to be included in Marc Wilmots’ Belgium squad for this year’s European Championships in France.

The much maligned Hoops player has failed to bed in during his first season at Parkhead after his seven figure move from Manchester City last summer.

The towering center half will be in competition with former City teammate Jason Denayer among other names such as Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld for a place in the starting eleven come June.
