LIVINGSTON took all three points against Alloa thanks to a last-minute goal from Andy Barrowman.
The home side were in front within two minutes as Stefan Scougall cut in from the right and hit a 25-yard strike which Scott Bain parried into his own net. Alloa pulled one back six minutes later as Kevin Cawley tapped in Andy Kirk’s low cross. Livingston had two good chances as Bain tipped over a dipping shot from Keaghan Jacobs before turning a powerful drive from Jason Talbot round the post.
The Alloa keeper made an excellent stop after the break as he acrobatically saved a 30-yard strike from Marc McNulty that looked to be heading into the top corner.
Livingston made the breakthrough when Coll Donaldson fired home from five yards out after a corner. Alloa sub Declan McManus should have scored five minutes later as he cut into the box before blasting a shot straight at Darren Jamieson.
The visitors were pushing for an equaliser and with only three minutes remaining captain Ben Gordon found himself in the box and buried a 15-yard shot into the back of the net. But Andy Barrowman won the points in the 89th minute with a calm finish.
