Commons could be set for shock Scotland return
Kris Commons could be recalled to the Scotland squad today if Norwich City’s Robert Snodgrass fails a fitness test on an ankle injury.
Assistant boss Peter Houston said the Celtic midfielder is “one of the names” under consideration should Snodgrass fail to respond to treatment. (Scotsman)
Ally McCoist given full backing by Green
Rangers chief executive Charles Green has given his full backing to Rangers manager Ally McCoist following a shock 1 - 0 to Stirling Albion.

Hibs star has jaw broken
Hibernian midfielder Gary Deegan has been sidelined for several weeks after being struck on the face during an incident in Edinburgh’s George Street in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Brown eyes appearances in both qualifiers
Scotland midfielder Scott Brown is optimistic that he will be fit to face Wales on Friday and has not ruled out appearing against Belgium next Tuesday.

Belgium dealt injury blow
Belgium will have to manage without £13m rated Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku after he was ruled out of his side’s matches against Serbia and Scotland due to injury.
The striker, who is currently on loan to West Brom, has been replaced by uncapped Gent forward Llombe Mboyo. (Express)
