NEIL LENNON QUIT THREAT

• Celtic have made their worst start to a league campaign in 14 years having picked up just 25 points from 14 SPL games, they have however enjoyed a postive Champions League campaign the highlight if which being a 2 - 1 win over Barcelona at Parkhead.
Spartak coach sacked
Celtic’s opponents in the final game of the Champions League, Spartak Moscow, have sacked their manager following a 5 - 1 defeat to city rivals Dynamo.
Unai Emery had been given a vote of confidence following his side’s 3 - 0 defeat to Barcelona. (Scotsman)
Miller a Hibs target
Pat Fenlon is considering a move for Scotland international Kenny Miller if he fails to keep Leigh Griffiths beyond January.
The Hibs boss is considering a loan move for the Vancouver Whitecaps forward during the Canadian club’s close season which ends in March.

Celtic face £700K bill for Ghana ‘Messi’
The Parkhead club will have to pay at least £700,000 for 19 year-old Ghana international Frank Acheampong after a £625,000 offer from Borusia Moenchengladbach was rejected by Thai side Buriram, (Sun)
Elgin to be sanctioned for ticket over-sale
The SFL have warned that it will not stand for a repeat of the ticket over-sale which led to Rangers match against Elgin city being called off at the weekend.
The Highland side sold over 1000 tickets over their capacity for their match against Ally McCoist’s leading to the game being called off due to safety fears.
SFL chief executive David Longmuir has also said the league will clamp down on clubs increasing ticket prices for the visit of the Ibrox side after Queen’s Park increase the price of their tickets to £20 for Rangers’ visit. (Scotsman)
Talks to continue over Hearts takeover
Hearts directors and Supporters Direct Scotland are to resume talks next week with the fans organisation increasingly hopeful that the club will agree to community ownership. (Scotsman)
