Swans to swoop for Ki
Swansea are set to make a move for Celtic midfielder Ki Sung-Yueng. Talks between Michael Laudrup’s club and the South Korean are understood to be at an advanced stage and Celtic are ready to cash in on their wantaway star, who is likely to carry a price tag of around £5-6million. (Various)
• Celtic’s Swedish defender Mikael Lustig has warned his team-mates that they face a much tougher test against Helsingborgs in his homeland in the Champions League play-off first leg tomorrow than they did in the previous round when they beat HJK Helsinki home and away. (Scotsman)

Green ‘always the victim’
Charles Green has claimed he is “always the victim” and claims that the SFA and SPL are out to get him. Speaking about the dispute over money owed to Dundee United for a Scottish Cup tie last season, the Rangers chief executive said: “The English FA are actually trying to help Portsmouth and the Scottish FA seem to be doing everything they can to make it difficult for us.” (Record)

Rival bosses want red cards rescinded
Dundee United boss Peter Houston and his Dundee counterpart Barry Smith have called on referee Calum Murray to rescind the red cards he gave to Stephen O’Donnell and Johnny Russell. United’s double goal-scorer Russell and Dens skipper O’Donnell were involved in a minor coming together on the ground. Both managers want Murray to cancel out the offences in his official report and save the clubs shelling out £1,000 to appeal the decisions through the SFA’s fast-track disciplinary system. (Express)
Hibs chief executive to stand down
Hibernian have announced that chief executive Scott Lindsay will stand down from his post next month. Lindsay is in his second spell with the club after first serving as a director between 2002 and 2005. (Scotsman)
