SPL Fanzone: St Mirren

SATURDAY’S game against Motherwell might have been goalless but it certainly wasn’t dull.

We dominated the first half and ripped Motherwell apart on numerous occasions but, as has been our problem so often this season, we just couldn’t take the chances we created. Motherwell were on top in the second half but Craig Samson was on top form to get us a point we more than merited.

It’s yet another draw from a game we could have won and these results have really cost us this season. Even if we could have won just a couple of them we’d be a good few places better off. As it is, there’s still half a chance of Dunfermline catching us.

We need to start winning soon and we’ve done well against Dundee United in recent years, so hopefully Saturday will finally yield a victory.
