MOTHERWELL produced another battling display on Saturday as we remained on track to claim third place in the SPL.
The draw also gave the players and fans a chance to continue the love-in which has been taking place all season.
Stuart McCall sent another long missive to the supporters by email and, though there may be the hand of the press officer involved somewhere, the piece comes across as reflecting his true feelings. But that email only sees information and opinion, as useful as it is, flow one way.
Instead, it is on Twitter that the true bonding between fans and players takes place. Several players tweet regularly with updates and it is pleasing that they nearly always thank the fans for their vocal support. Long may that continue.
