THE win over Hearts was a great performance to cap off a good season. Sami and Kris Commons looked back to their best and both played a big part in helping Hooperman bag his five goals. It was also tremendous to see Lenny pick up the league trophy.

Celtic have made no secret of the fact that their policy is to buy low and sell high, therefore I expect to see the departure of at least one of the mainstays of the team. Hopefully, it will fund the search for a few more gems such as Izzy or Kayal as, no matter the outcome of the close season, I expect Celtic to strengthen and build upon the lessons learnt from this season – like Europe, like losing games we should win.

Also, there’s the excitement of facing two SPL debutants in 2012/13 to look forward to!
