JUVENTUS will be given the keys to Rangers’ Murray Park training ground ahead of the Italian side’s Champions League tie tomorrow with Celtic.

• Juventus will train at Murray Park this morning ahead of their tie with Celtic

• Rangers will move their training session to accommodate Italian side

Ibrox chief executive Charles Green made the offer to the Turin side as they prepare to play at Parkhead in the first-leg of their last-16 tie with the Scottish champions.

It is understood that Rangers even moved their training session to the afternoon to accommodate Juventus.

The arrangement is thought to have come about as a result of a meeting between representatives of the two clubs at the European Clubs’ Association conference.

Although Celtic have made no official comment on the move, midfielder Kris Commons mocked Rangers’ invitation.

“Juventus can train in my back garden, it would make no difference. If they want to prepare at a Division Three training ground let them get on with it,” said Commons.

Meanwhile, manager Neil Lennon refused to be drawn on Rangers’ offer, saying: “I don’t want to talk about Rangers. They can do what they like.”
