Hearts U20s take honours at Keyline Cup in Oban

HEARTS’ Under-20 side won the prestigious Keyline Cup in Oban on Saturday, conceding only one goal in their five matches.

Goalless draws with Hamilton and St Johnstone bookended a 2-0 win over Oban Saints, a 1-0 victory over Dundee United and a 2-1 success against Alloa, ensuring the young Tynecastle side finished as winners.

Hearts winger Sam 
Nicholson was named player of the tournament and midfielder Callum Tapping was top goalscorer with two goals. Hearts’ Fraser 
Mullen, Dale Carrick and Billy King also scored.
