ANDY DRIVER, Gordon Smith and Jamie Walker are amongst those expected to play for Hearts against Spartans at Ainslie Park this evening as manager John McGlynn tries to keep his players sharp ahead of next weekend’s match with St Mirren.

The clubs will contest the Ronnie Swan trophy in tonight’s friendly, which kicks off at 7.30pm and offers McGlynn a chance to give vital game time to some first-team squad members.

Driver, Smith and Walker will all be grateful for the chance of some match action during the current international break.

McGlynn revealed he will field a strong side and utilise as many players as he can.

“We’ve got a few boys away on international duty, and we wish them all the best, but we’ll look to play as many players as possible who are left behind to keep them
sharp.”

Meanwhile, Hearts will allow children free entry to their Scottish Communities League Cup tie with Livingston at Tynecastle later this month.

The third round match kicks off at 7.45pm on Tuesday, September 25, and will have reduced admission prices for adults with kids going free.

Adult tickets for the game with the West Lothian club will cost £12, with all concessions for over 65s, under 18s and students priced at £6.

Anyone under the age of 12 will be granted free admission on the night, provided they are accompanied by an adult paying full price. This offer will be limited to one free child per paying adult.
