HEARTS have recruited all-time leading scorer John Robertson as an ambassador for their share offer to supporters.

The club plan to raise £1.79 million through the initiative and have enlisted the help of Robertson – who also managed the team – to promote what they hope will be a money-spinning venture. The sale of 16,325,000 ordinary shares priced at 11 pence per share lasts until 19 December. Robertson said: “Having been asked by the club to perform the role of ambassador for the new share issue, I am delighted to do my bit.”
