Key man: Celtic's Victor Wanyama

After an edgy encounter in Sweden, Celtic will be looking to cement their place in the group stages of the Champions League.

They take a 2-0 lead back home with them, however Neil Lennon’s side will be taking nothing for granted as they look to make the group stages for the first time since 2009.

DATE: Wednesday, August 29

KICK-OFF: 7.45pm

VENUE: Celtic Park

TV CHANNEL: Sky Sports 2

CELTIC INJURIES

Joe Ledley and Beram Kayal are definitely out with Celtic manager Neil Lennon hopeful Thomas Rogne, Scott Brown, Georgios Samaras and Kris Commons will be available for selection after sitting out Saturday’s 4-2 win against Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

PREVIOUS MEETINGS

Prior to last week, Celtic last played Helsingborgs away in a friendly in 2003, with the Parkhead side running out 3-2 winners.

Last week saw Celtic defeat the Swedish champions 2-0 with goals from Kris Commons and Georgios Samaras.

5/1 Helsingborgs win

KEY PLAYERS

Despite winning 2-0 in the first leg, Celtic struggled to control the midfield for large parts of the game. The return of Victor Wanyama should provide a much-needed backbone to the Parkhead side’s play.

Helsingborgs had many a golden opportunity in front of goal when these two sides met last week and it is unlikely that they will enjoy as much possession as they did in their home leg.

They will be looking for a more clinical performance up front from new signing Nikola Djurdjic.
