Amateur team seeking Tynecastle legends for charity football match

FORMER Hearts players are being sought to take part in
a football match against a local amateur side in order to raise money for cancer charities.

David Old, a coach at AC Midlothian, is on the lookout for a Hearts Legends side to play against his team at a venue yet to be confirmed. Old said: “We are looking for Hearts legends to play against AC Midlothian within the next month with the aim of raising £5000 for both Wear it Pink and Cancer
Research UK.

“We will also look to hold a ‘Beat the Goalie’ challenge as well as sell raffle tickets to raise funds.”

Former Hearts players
interested in taking part – or any club interested in providing facilities for the match – can contact David via email at djold1987@googlemail.com
