Talks between Rangers and fans groups stall

Meetings between Rangers and fans groups the Sons if Struth and the Union of Fans have stalled after the two met to discuss guaranteeing that club assets Ibrox and Murray Park would not be sold to raise finance.

The club is reported to have only sold 5,000 season tickets for next season meaning it could face a cash crisis in the close season.

The Sons of Struth said no agreement had yet been reached and they could not therefore endorse fans buying season tickets.

The deadline for season ticket renewals at Ibrox passes today. (Record)
