FORMER Hearts goalkeeper Jamie MacDonald has signed a one-year contract with Falkirk.
The 27-year old stopper was released by his boyhood heroes on the first day of the Ann Budge era at Tynecastle and has been looking for a new club since then.
Rumours that he was joining both Kilmarnock and Hibs have since been proven to be false and he’s now became Peter Houston’s first signing at the Falkirk stadium.
It’s a major coup for the Championship club who were desperate to sign a reputable keeper to replace the departed Michael McGovern.
MacDonald played all but one league game for Hearts last year and won the club’s Player of the Year award at the season’s end.
