Shaleum Logan has agreed a pre-contract with Aberdeen, the Pittodrie club have confirmed.
The 26-year-old defender arrived on loan from Brentford in January and played in the club’s Scottish League Cup final win over Inverness at Celtic Park in March.
Logan will become a Don at the start of July on a two-year deal.
Manager Derek McInnes told the club’s official website: “He will no longer be a loan player and will be an Aberdeen player and I think that’s really important.
“I thought he showed enough in his loan spell with us last season in terms of his qualities and we’re just looking for that consistency of performance going forward.
“We’re delighted he sees Aberdeen as the place to play his football and we’re looking forward to working with him again.”
The Englishman made 18 appearances for Aberdeen last season, scoring one goal in the 5-2 Scottish Premiership defeat at Celtic.
Logan began his career with Manchester City and played on loan at Grimsby, Scunthorpe, Stockport and Tranmere before signing for Brentford in 2011.
