SEASON-TICKET sales at Tynecastle have surpassed the 12,000 mark as Hearts supporters continue to back their club ahead of the new season.

Fans are buoyant after their club emerged from administration in June and signed eight new players for the SPFL Championship campaign.

Last year’s total number of season ticket sales was eclipsed just four weeks after sales began. Now, Hearts are nearing a complete sell-out of season tickets and are advising those wanting to guarantee their seat to buy one quickly.

“To have passed the 12,000 mark in season tickets sold for this coming campaign is a terrific achievement and we must say a huge ‘thank you’ to our wonderful supporters,” said a club spokesperson.

“Our ticket centre staff have worked incredibly hard in order to accommodate the phenomenal demand for season tickets, the likes of which have not been seen here for years. When you take into account hospitality numbers and seats reserved for matchday operations, we are only a few hundred from a home sell-out.

“Though our supporters will no doubt be aware of this, we feel it is important to reiterate the fact that there will be very limited availability for Hibs and Rangers games at Tynecastle, with only season ticket holders guaranteed a seat.”

To buy a Tynecastle season ticket, visit www.eticketing.co.uk/heartofmidlothian or call 0871 663 1874 (option 1). You can also visit the Tynecastle ticket centre in person.
