Fox finds the net in final game for Livi

LIVINGSTON captain Liam Fox marked his final game for the club with a goal, but he was disappointed that he couldn’t sign off with a third-spot finish.

The Lions’ record appearance holder fired home from the penalty spot following a handball by Raith’s Laurie Ellis to level after Grant Anderson had put Raith ahead at Almondvale.

However, a double from Brian Graham – either side of an Iain Russell finish – saw Rovers win 3-2, with the injury-time winner particularly tough for Fox to take.

He said: “It was perfect until about the 93rd minute. I’m gutted for myself and players to miss out on third spot in the final game of the season.

“It was a plus for me to score, but the goal was tainted by the defeat.

“I wish Livingston all the best for the future.”
