Berwick Rangers will move to the fringes of the play-offs with a win over visitors Stirling Albion, however Shielfield manager Ian Little is wary of the division’s in-form side.
Albion head across the border on the back of a seven-game unbeaten run that has taken them from a four-month stay at the foot of the table to an outside bet for the play-offs and Little said: “Stirling are having a fantastic run just now so we have to be on our guard.”
Steve Notman is available after a ban and attacking midfielder Dylan Easton could return after more than two weeks out with an ankle injury, however Marc Lancaster and Dene Droudge continue to be out.
Stirling goalkeeper David Crawford will miss out due to a thigh strain with Ross McGeachie’s foot injury and Graham Weir’s hamstring strain seeing them miss out.
A run of one win in 12 games has seen Elgin fall from play-off favourites to fifth and they will look to arrest that slide against a Queen’s Park side that now sits closest to runaway leaders Rangers. Paul Harkins is a doubt for Elgin, while Queen’s head north without Jamie Longworth, Aidan Connolly and Tony Quinn, with Sean Burns a doubt.
