Second Division: Rovers hit for six at Arbroath as Forfar shock the leaders

Forfar Athletic 1 - 0 Cowdenbeath
Bottom overcame top as Forfar beat Cowdenbeath at Station Park.
The visitors’ Mark Ramsay almost made an early breakthrough, but Marc McCallum saved it. After earlier hitting woodwork Nicky Low did one better on the stroke of half time, finding the corner of the net.
Airdrie United 2 - 3 Dumbarton
Pat Walker struck at the death to give the Sons the points. Airdrie were twice ahead, Ryan Donnelly’s 25th of the season opening the scoring before Alan Lithgow levelled. John Boyle restored Airdrie’s advantage but Scott Agnew equalised soon after Cameron MacDonald saw red.
Stirling Albion 0 - 1 East Fife
East Fife squeezed past Stirling Albion at Forthbank despite losing Darren McCormack’ in 19 minutes when he was sent off for a foul on Scott Davidson.
After Devon Jacobs had hit the bar for the hosts, Ryan Wallace got the only goal in 51 minutes.
Arbroath 6 - 1 Albion Rovers
Lee Sibanda put Arbroath ahead in five minutes before John Gemmell’s equaliser. Gavin Swankie and Josh Falkingham made it 3-1 before the break, Swankie getting his second in 56 minutes. Player boss Paul Sheerin and Trinidad international Collin Samuel completed the scoring.
