A roundup of the weekend’s second division fixtures
Airdrie United 0 - 3 Stenhousemuir
Sean Dickson put Stenhousemuir ahead after just four minutes when he drilled home after good work by Jamie Campbell. Campbell set up Gary Smith for Stenhousemuir’s second just a minute after the break before scoring the third in 66 minutes.
Stirling Albion 2 - 3 Brechin City
Mark Ferry put Stirling ahead after 33 minutes but then scored an own goal to level the match. Stirling went back in front when Paul McLean too put through his own net. But Bryan Hodge equalised in 83 minutes and four minutes later Rory McKenzie got the winner for Brechin.
Dumbarton 1 - 0 Albion Rovers
Both sides had chances in a goalless first half – Scott Chaplain shooting just wide for Albion before Alan Lithgow headed just over at the other end. Bryan Prunty scored the decisive goal after 61 minutes from Scott Agnew’s pass to give Dumbarton victory.
East Fife 4 - 0 Forfar Athletic
East Fife coasted to an easy win. Robert Sloan put them ahead with an 11th-minute penalty and then struck again with a left-foot shot four minutes later. Sloan then turned provider after 36 minutes when his cross was headed home by Steve Hislop and Ryan Wallace made it four.
Arbroath 1 - 1 Cowdenbeath
Arbroath went ahead three minutes from the break, new signing Chris Innes scoring from close range after Gavin Swankie had provided the cross. Marc McKenzie equalised after an hour after Jon Robertson set him up but Cowdenbeath had Scott Linton sent off in 73 minutes.
