Rangers and SPL at loggerheads over Dundee United cash
Rangers have disupted accusations from the Tannadice club that they owe them £31,000 from a Scottish Cup clash at Ibrox in February arguing that they had reached a binding agreement with the SPL that the money would be paid from last season’s prize money.
However the SPL say the funds must now be paid from Green’s company following the settlement which saw Sevco take control of Rangers assets and SFA membership. (Various)
Rangers debt to Rapid still not settled
Rapid Vienna say they are still owed £1m for the transfer of Nikica Jelavic and have not received any indication whether or not they will be paid for the striker who now plies his trade in the Premiership with Everton.
The Austrians have piped up following Charles Green’s assertions that the newly-formed Rangers have settled all debts owed by the ‘Oldco’ to Scottish clubs. (Herald)
Ian Black booed as he makes appearance for Scotland
Rangers midfielder Ian Black was jeered as he came on the pitch as a sub in the 87th minute during Scotland’s 3 - 1 victory over Australia last night.
Black’s selection was controversial following Levein’s comments that it would be difficult for Third Division players to make it into the Scotland squad.
Black said he was disappointed by the supporters’ reaction. (Various)
Rangers consider move Australian teenager
Francesco Stella is on trial at Ibrox with the 21-year-old keen to win a move to the Third Division club.
The former South Melbourne player is available on a free after leaving Serie A side Siena.

Rangers got what they deserved - Rogne
Celtic defender Thomas Rogne has been quoted while on international duty with Norway saying that Rangers starting life in the Third Division was just punishment for past indiscretions however he says some of the “x factor” of playing for Celtic has disappeared following the end of regular matches with their Glasgow rivals for the foreseeable future. Kilmarnock fans plan protest
Supporters of the Rugby Park club will stage a protest after their home match against Motherwell on Saturday with the aim of pressuring owner Michael Johnson to sell his shareholding in the club.

Pawlett issues Aberdeen ultimatum
Aberdeen winger Peter Pawlett says he will look for a move away from the Pittodrie club if he cannot force his way into the first team starting line up this season.
