THE snowy weather has put paid to Rangers’ hopes of wrapping up the Third Division title today, after nearest rivals Queen’s Park saw their match with Annan Athletic postponed.

Had Queen’s Park failed to win, and Rangers defeated Stirling at Ibrox, Rangers would have been crowned champions this afternoon.

However, the postponement means fans must wait at least another week before their side secure the title.

Rangers are 20 points clear of Queen’s Park at the top of the Third Division. Their game with Stirling is unaffected by the Arctic conditions, and will kick off at midday.
