Dean Hoskins’ 54th minute tap-in gave Berwick a three-goal lead before Graeme Ramage netted a last-minute consolation for Annan.

Montrose 1, Queen’s Park 1

It took only 34 seconds for Montrose to take the lead as Lloyd Young blasted home from the edge of the visitors’ box.

However, Queen’s Park equalised on the hour mark when Paul Gallacher curled the ball past Sandy Wood.

Peterhead 1, Clyde 0

The hosts were denied an opener in the 31st minute as Jamie Barclay parried Ryan Strachan’s drilled shot.

On the stroke of half-time Robbie Winters headed home a David Cox cross to sink Clyde, for whom Bryan Gilfillan headed over from close range late on.

Stirling Albion 1, Elgin 4

Brian Cameron fed Craig Gunn for the opening goal in the sixth minute and he added two further strikes to kill the game off by the 31st minute.

Stuart Leslie notched Elgin’s fourth from a Daniel Moore pass before the hosts’ Graham Weir netted a 38th-minute consolation.
