Berwick put Little in charge until New Year

Berwick Rangers have confirmed Ian Little as their manager until at least the end of the year.

Little has been acting as caretaker manager since the surprise departure of Jimmy Crease on 27 October, navigating a run of three matches without defeat for the Shielfield Park club.

Late goals by Stuart Noble and Damon Gray secured a victory over Queen’s Park in the Third Division at the weekend.

As a result, the club have decided to give the interim manager his shot in the hotseat.

A Berwick Rangers statement released yesterday said: “After the excellent 2-0 home win over Queen’s Park on Saturday the board have announced that acting manager Ian Little remains in charge until at least 31 December, when matters will be looked at again.”
