Moroccan teenager joins Dunfermline

Dunfermline Athletic have completed the signing of Moroccan youngster El-Bakhtaoui Fayssal on a two-year deal. The 19-year-old joins from French lower league side Racing Club de la Baie, having come through the ranks at the Cote D’Azur outfit.

Fayssal becomes the Pars’ seventh signing of an extensive summer rebuilding process after impressing during a trial period at East End Park and featuring in a 2-1 pre-season win at Berwick Rangers last month.

“He is a talented young kid, just 19 years old and not far away from the first team,” said manager Jim Jefferies.
