DUMBARTON have been handed a home tie against fellow Championship side Rangers in the draw for the third round of the Scottish Cup.

Comedian Billy Connolly helped make the draw at Edinburgh’s Usher Hall, where he is performing a number of shows.

Junior side Linlithgow Rose were handed a tie at home to Raith Rovers while capital club Edinburgh City will entertain Highland League outfit Brora Rangers after overcoming Auchinleck Talbot in the previous round.

Fellow Edinburgh side Spartans will play Clyde at home if they can see off East Kilbride in their second round replay.

Bo’ness United face a trip to Elgin City or Forres Mechanics while Hurlford United will play Stirling Albion at home.
