MANCHESTER City are the latest English Premier League outfit to scout Victor Wanyama as the midfielder was watched by representatives from several top-flight clubs on Tuesday night.
• Manchester City join race to sign Victor Wanyama
• Arsenal and Manchester City also thought to be interested
The English champions sent two scouts to size up Wanyama as the Celtic’s midfielder’s reputation grows.
Wanyama is also being monitored by Manchester United and Arsenal, the latter club having also sent a scout to Parkhead to watch Wanyama put in a solid performance despite being on the losing side.
The Kenyan international turned down a contract extension last October, and is widely expected to leave for a sizeable transfer fee in the summer.
Manchester City also sent scouts to Parkhead last year to watch Wanyama impress against La Liga giants Barcelona as Celtic ran out 2-1 winners.
