STEVEN Fletcher and Charlie Mulgrew will not travel with the Scotland squad for Tuesday’s friendly in Norway, with both excused the fixture by national manager Gordon Strachan.

Fletcher is still working his way back to fitness after a shoulder injury, while Celtic midfielder Mulgrew has a heavy schedule owing to his club’s Champions League participation.

Strachan has hinted he may “try something a little different” on Tuesday and among those who could feature are Derby midfielder Craig Bryson, Stoke City’s Charlie Adam and Ipswich defender Christophe Berra.
