Rangers have a tight deadline in which to sign Kenny Miller, as he may pen a new deal with Vancouver in the next 48 hours.

McCoist is known to be keen on bringing Miller to Ibrox as he looks to climb the table next season. (Sun)

Celtic are looking to land at least one of two strikers ahead of tomorrow’s deadline.

SPFL renames divisions

The newly-formed Scottish Professional Football League, has rebranded the divisions, naming the top two tiers The Premier League, and The Championship.

The new relaunch comes under the advice given by former First Minister Henry McLeish. (Daily Express)

James Collins in Hibs talks

James Collins is today holding talks with Hibs, in a possible £200,000 move from Swindon.

Pat Fenlon is keen to replace Leigh Griffiths and sees Collins as a possible candidate. (Sun)

Gary Locke in Fringe show

You may think that Hearts boss Gary Locke hasn’t had a lot to smile about recently, but you’d be wrong, as he takes part in an Edinburgh Festival Fringe show.

Locke will be appearing as a defendant in This Is Your Trial, a comedy show by stand-up David Allison. (Edinburgh Evening News)

St Mirren circling Danny Grainger

St Mirren have an eye on former Hearts defender Danny Grainger, after he was released from the club earlier this year.

Grainger is back to full fitness after a spell of injury, and Saints boss Danny Lennon looks set to make his move. (Daily Express)
