Dundee United in TV ban, Marius Zaliukas at Rangers, Nacho Novo eyes Kilmarnock deal, and more.

United in TV row

Dundee United have banned all staff from co-operating with STV or BBC as manager Jackie McNamara kicked up a fuss over what he believes is trial be television.

Gavin Gunning wasn’t booked for his tackle on Celtic’s Virgil van Dijk last week, but he was later handed a three-match ban.

Novo trains at Killie

Nacho Novo could be set to return to Scottish Football, after Kilmarnock invited him to train with a view towards offering him a short-term contract.

The ex-Rangers striker could be set to snub a bigger offer in Greece so he can be closer to his family in Scotland. (Daily Record)

Hutton out to prove himself

Alan Hutton is hoping to use tonight’s Scotland clash with Belgium to show Aston Villa the error of their ways after being frozen out of the English club.

Villa boss says Hutton will never be part of his plans, despite the fact that the club turned down three offers from Spanish clubs on deadline day of the transfer window. (Scotsman)

Fenlon in Zoubir warning

Hibs boss Pat Fenlon has warned fans not to put too much pressure on new signing Abdellah Zoubir.

The 21-year-old Frenchman scored twice in a recent friendly against Rangers, but Fenlon says he is still finding his feet. (Daily Express)
