Benfica have made a move for Celtic keeper Fraser Forster.

The amount on offer has not been revealed, but it is thought that Celtic manager Neil Lennon will not want to part with the Englishman. (Scotsman.com)

Rangers fail to shed Cribari

Rangers look to have failed in a bid to offload high-earner Emilson Cribari to Greek side Xanthi.

Ally McCoist had hoped to free up some cash on the wages bill to help with Boris Pandza, but Cribari says he is happy to stay at Rangers. (Daily Express)

Bomber warned

Dundee boss John Brown has been hit with two separate SFA notices of complaint for verbal attacks on Rab Douglas and Charles Green.

Bomber has previously accused Douglas of lying about a row that brought and end to his time with the team. (Various)

Raw deal from refs

Derek McInnes says that even though he will accept his punishment for Saturday’s row, he believes that Aberdeen have had a raw deal from the refs.

He says that Aberdeen should have been given a penalty, and also claims to have spotted a foul which led to Hearts’ winning goal. (Daily Record)

Black set for September hearing

Under-fire Rangers star Ian Black has lodged a defence against betting allegations, ahead of am SFA hearing on September 12.

It is thought that the panel will focus on three matches in which is it alleged that Black betted against his own team. (Daily Mail)
