HIBERNIAN winger Ivan Sproule has completed his transfer to Ross County, the Victoria Park side confirmed this afternoon.
The Northern Irishman has agreed an 18-month deal with the Staggies, having found first-team oppportunities limited at Easter Road this season.
The 31-year-old has started just once for Pat Fenlon’s side in his second spell at Hibs, coming off the bench 10 times. Sproule was originally signed by Tony Mowbray for just £5000 from Northern Irish side Institute, and scored 12 goals in 71 appearances in his first stint at the club.
After falling out of favour under John Collins, Sproule was signed by Bristol City, where he made 119 appearances and found the net six times, before being loaned out to Yeovil Town and Notts County, eventually returning to Easter Road under Colin Calderwood in 2011.
Ross County have been seeking to bolster their squad, and have been linked with Norwegian defender Hans Åge Yndestad, whilst captain Richie Brittain has agreed a pre-contract with St Johnstone.
