RANGERS have been drawn against Stenhousemuir in the semi-finals of the Ramsdens Cup.

The draw, which took place earlier this afternoon, will see the Scottish League One rivals play at Ochilview.

Rangers progressed to the semi-finals of the Ramsdens Cup after a comfortable 3-0 victory over Queen of the South, who beat Rangers last year on their way to winning the trophy.

Rangers are due to meet Stenhousemuir at Ibrox next weekend in the league. It will be the first time to teams have met since 1999, where they played a Scottish Cup tie that Rangers won 2-0 at Ibrox.

Scottish Championship side Raith Rovers will take on League Two side Annan Athletic in the other semi-final tie on Sunday October 13. Raith beat Falkirk 1-0 earlier this month to progress to the semi-finals thanks to a late Greig Spence goal, while Annan booked their place in the last four with a 4-0 victory against Formartine United.
