Portuguese giants Benfica have reportedly made a move for Celtic keeper Fraser Forster.

The amount on offer has not been revealed, but it is thought that Celtic manager Neil Lennon will not want to part with the Englishman.

Forster caught the eye of Benfica manager Jorge Jesus when the two sides clashed Champions League last year, and the latest twist will surprise some who had previously thought Forster would go to the English Premier League.

Forster signed a four-year-deal with Celtic last year and is seen as a solid presence in goal after some superb performances.
