Tony Watt set for Hearts loan deal; Apple’s personal assistant ‘trolls’ Rangers fans; Celtic closing in on Scott Sinclair as Shane Duffy and Jerry St Juste still linked and Scott McDonald set to quit Motherwell
Hoops close in on Sinclair as defensive duo linked
CELTIC boss Brendan Rodgers is hopeful of tying up a deal for Scott Sinclair before the European transfer deadline at midnight tomorrow.
And Blackburn Rovers defender Shane Duffy and Dutch stopper Jerry St Juste are also on Celtic’s radar as Rodgers looks to strengthen his team.
Rodgers said: “Ideally, we would want to try to at least have one more in by the deadline. I want it now - but it doesn’t always work out that way.”
Villa are reportedly holding out for £6 million for Sinclair. (Various)
Hearts linked with Watt loan
HEARTS are hopeful of bringing former Celtic striker Tony Watt to Tynecastle on a loan deal, after Charlton Athletic gave the 22-year-old the green light to return north of the Border.
Watt, who has had spells at Standard Liege, Cardiff and Blackburn since leaving Celtic, is understood to want to be closer to his family in Scotland.
Hearts could face competition from Rotherham United however, who are also keen on the striker. (The Scotsman)
Siri ‘trolls’ Rangers fans with age of club
APPLE’s personal assistant Siri has managed to anger Rangers fans - by stating that the club was founded in December 2012 and not March 1872.
When Siri is asked ‘When were Rangers formed?’ it replies ‘The answer is Wednesday, December 19, 2012’.
The reponse appears to be based on results from the Wolfram Alpha search engine, and appears to refer to the initial public offering on the stock exchange. (BBC)

SCOTT McDonald could be set to leave Motherwell - barely a fortnight after signing on for another season at Fir Park.
The Australian hitman is believed to be holding talks with Sydney FC despite extending his Motherwell deal two weeks ago after a proposed move to Hibs had collapsed. (Daily Mail)
Ibrox duo extend contracts
RANGERS goalkeeper Wes Foderingham and defender Rob Kiernan agreed one-year contract extensions on Tuesday before the 2-0 win over Annan Athletic.
