Celtic deny Duverne bid

Celtic have denied offering £4.8million to Lens for defender Jean-Kevin Duverne. Reports yesterday stated the Scottish champions had made the bid for the highly-rated 19-year-old, who has been on Celtic’s radar since January. However, the club have since denied making an official move for the player. (Scottish Sun)

United eye Tierney

Manchester United are poised to offer £15million to sign Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney. Old Trafford boss Jose Mourinho is an admirer of the 20-year-old, who has won consecutive PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year awards. (Daily Star)

Everton for Dembele

Everton are ready to break their £30million transfer record in order to bring Celtic striker Moussa Dembele to Goodison. The 20-year-old Frenchman will replace the outgoing Romelu Lukaku after the latter completes a £80m move to either Manchester United or Chelsea. (Scottish Sun)

Rangers odds-on to sign Naismith

Scougall to Saints

St Johnstone have signed Stefan Scougall from Sheffield United on a two-year deal. The 24-year-old former Livingston player from Edinburgh will now be part of the Saints squad which competes in the Europa League qualifiers before the 2017-18 Ladbrokes Premiership season gets under way. Cummings leaves Hibs

Jason Cummings has completed his move to Nottingham Forest. The English Championship side agreed to fork out more than £1m, convincing Hibernian to part with the striker who scored 71 goals in 150 appearances for the Leith club. Ross County have snapped up former St Mirren defender Sean Kelly as last season’s first-choice left-back Kenny van der Weg has left the club.
