Uefa says it charged Dynamo Kiev for racist behaviour after black fans were reportedly attacked at a Champions League match.
European football’s governing body received reports from the anti-discrimination group Fare that four men were attacked by other Dynamo fans in a home section of the Olympic Stadium during the 0-0 draw with Chelsea on Tuesday.
Before the match, Uefa promoted its “No To Racism” project which it runs with Fare. Uefa said its disciplinary committee will judge the case next Tuesday.
Last season, Uefa sanctioned Dynamo for racist behaviour by fans during a Europa League round-of-16 match against Everton.
l Uefa has hailed a “very positive agreement” for football fans in the UK after announcing free-to-air broadcasters BBC and ITV will show the next two European Championships, with coverage split between the two stations.
