England have unveiled their new away kit, which they will wear for the first time in tomorrow night’s friendly against Germany in Dortmund – and it’s in Scotland colours.
The Auld Enemy have pinched the famous dark blue from the Scots in a move away from the iconic red away strip favoured by many England supporters.
England have run into trouble with their own fans in the past when straying from the classic white home and red away kits.
The most recent edition of their home kit – released in March 2016 – attracted criticism for its grey collar and sleeves. The grey away kit dating back to 1996 was almost universally derided.
Scotland had to play in a pink away strip at Wembley in November as the white sleeves on their blue shirts were said by Fifa to clash with England’s grey sleeves.
