NEWLY-CROWNED Super League champions Linlithgow Rose maintained their unbeaten run this season with a 3-0 home win over Newburgh in the Fife & Lothians Cup last night.

Rose, who won the title at the weekend, had a much-changed line up, yet they were still far too strong for their opponents and won comfortably through goals from Ruari MacLennan,
Tommy Coyne and Calum Smith.

In the Super League, Broxburn drew 1-1 at Camelon. Mark Cowan gave Broxburn the lead, but a goal from Blair Batchelor levelled the game. Camelon’s former Hearts keeper Myles Hogarth saved a penalty to ensure a draw.

There was a shock for
Bathgate in the Premier League when they went down 2-1 to Penicuik, who can now launch a late promotion bid. Dougie Cunnison gave Penicuik the lead, only for Gary Bonnes to equalise. A late Chris Roxburgh goal shocked the visitors.

Edinburgh United drew 1-1 at Falkirk in the South Division.
