Fletcher and Berra make Scotland squad

CHRISTOPHE BERRA and Steven Fletcher are the two Edinburgh-based players in George Burley's Scotland squad for the forthcoming World Cup qualifier against Norway, however Berra's Hearts colleague Michael Stewart has been omitted from the group.

Stewart is on standby to be called up in the event of call-offs, although former Tynecastle defender Jamie McAllister has returned to the squad four years after winning his solitary cap against Trinidad and Tobago.

He impressed Burley with his recent performances at Bristol City.

Chris Iwelumo, the Wolverhampton Wanderers forward, earned his inclusion following eight goals in seven games for Wolverhampton Wanderers.
