ROSS County and Inverness go head-to-head in the Highland derby with the home side looking to avenge the recent ALBA Challenge Cup defeat to their close rivals.
Derek Adams' side have, however, won only once in their last four league matches and have slipped to fourth in the league. County also have a poor home record against Inverness having won once in the last five meetings between the sides at Victoria Park.
Their home form this season has been encouraging, however, and victory today could see County climb back to the top of the pile.
After a slow start, Inverness have hit a purple patch of late with two comprehensive victories in as many weeks. Although they came against two of the weaker sides in the league in Ayr United and Greenock Morton; Terry Butcher's men will surely go into today's match full of confidence.
Indeed, the two victories mean his side sit just four points behind leaders Queen of the South and victory today would go a long way to reasserting the Highland side as genuine title contenders. Butcher's side are also the strongest on the road this season and are yet to lose on their travels.
