Ferguson forced to end his ban on BBC

SIR Alex Ferguson will be made to give interviews to the BBC under new Premier League rules agreed last week, it emerged yesterday.

The Manchester United manager has not spoken to the BBC since a Panorama programme in 2004, which featured his son Jason, a football agent. However, a motion passed at a meeting of the Premier League last week, will make it mandatory for managers to face the BBC cameras after games.
