Dunne left disappointed over Man City's draw

MANCHESTER City captain Richard Dunne was disappointed his side failed to extend their 100 per cent record in the group stages of the UEFA Cup.

After beating FC Twente and Schalke, City found Paris St Germain a different proposition and difficult to break down in a 0-0 draw at Eastlands.

However the result means Mark Hughes' side will finish at least second in Group A going into the final match against Racing Santander in Spain in two weeks.

"We will go there with confidence even though we were not sharp enough in the first half. It was a tough game and we never got the right tempo."

City will assess the fitness of Brazil winger Elano later today after he pulled up with a groin injury amid fears that he could be out for at least two weeks.

Injured trio Robinho (ankle), Shaun Wright-Phillips (knee) and Micah Richards (ankle) could be available for the Barclays Premier League match against Fulham on Saturday after sitting out the UEFA Cup encounter.
