Dundee HSFP 13 - 22 Currie

CURRIE turned on the power in the second half to snuff out the hopes of Dundee HSFP and boost their Premier title aspirations.

The Mayfield contest was in the melting pot at the interval, but the Taysiders had no answer in the second 40 as the Malleny men made their presence felt and secured a precious bonus point.

Their tries came from Andy Dam, Ross Weston, Mark Cairns and Jamie Thomson. Matt Scott added a conversion.

High were awarded a penalty try, goaled by Barry Jones who also landed two penalties.

Glasgow Hawks will be without backs Peter Jericevich and Mike Adamson when they host third-placed Melrose today in Premier 1.

The missing pair are on Scotland Sevens duty ahead of next weekend's Emirates Airlines Dubai Rugby Sevens.

Scotland are in Pool B of the 16-team tournament, and face Fji, Samoa and Zimbabwe.
