Drysdale plan
DAVID Drysdale still intends to end his year by playing two events in South Africa, despite learning that a top-three finish on the Sunshine Tour Order of Merit won't be enough to secure a place in the 2010 Open Championship.
The 34-year-old is lying third at the moment and had been under the impression that, if he could stay there, he'd earn an exemption for St Andrews. However, it has now emerged that Drysdale will have to finish first to secure such a ticket.
